Worship Leading
Music connects us to deeper spirituality. As a worship leader, my role is to create an environment of participation in singing and the spoken word. Whether it is a church service, a retreat, or a private gathering, I purpose to provide a well-executed musical setting to enhance your gathering.
My Story
Singing is a heart cry. Even as a small child, I would sense something special about the context of worship. I loved singing hymns in my childhood church and began leading worship when I was in college. Over the years I have lived in 5 different states, and in each place, engaging with the worship team brought me so much joy. Although my husband and I did not plan for my leading the worship ministry in our church plant in Decatur, Ga, there was a need so I stepped in. We had 3 small children at the time and expected that it wouldn’t work well for our family. But around year 5, I realized that worship leading was a gift from God that I was meant to exercise. Although I left my staff position after 17 years in the position, I still return to guest worship leading whenever I have the opportunity. This picture is my leading worship at a women’s retreat.
